JCT has released the latest batch of dates for the autumn series of JCT Training Online courses, continuing to offer training on core contracts from the JCT 2016 Edition.
The dates for October/November 2021 include courses on the JCT Design and Build Contract 2016, JCT Intermediate Building Contract 2016, and JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016.
The contract-specific courses provide an in-depth look at their respective forms and variants, enabling participants to learn about setting out the contract and what provisions are included.
The aim is to provide a grounding in the contract, identifying and discussing the main clauses and sections within document, as well as looking at the respective roles of the client, contractor, and contract administrator.
Attendees should leave the course with the knowledge to make sure common pitfalls are avoided and to provide confidence in dealing with the contract.
JCT Training Online courses are 3-hours duration, delivered as live broadcast webinars. Interactivity is provided with the ability to ask questions through the interface during set aside Q&A segments.
All courses feature the same expert trainers as JCT’s face-to-face courses – either past or current members of the JCT Council or JCT Drafting Sub-Committee.
With training delivered by those directly involved in the drafting of JCT contracts, the courses provide an unparalleled level of knowledge and expertise for JCT contract users.
Prior to the webinars, participants will receive relevant course materials, a pre-event questionnaire to establish priority topics and tailor the training, and will be able to test and troubleshoot any technology issues ahead of time to make sure their course runs smoothly on the day.
Details on the course dates and booking is available at www.jctltd.co.uk/jct-training/available-courses.
