JCT has announced that the release date for the Target Cost Contract 2024 will be 25 June 2025.
The launch of this brand new contract family, alongside the Tendering Practice Note 2024 (which will also be released on the same date), concludes the publication of all documents in the JCT 2024 Edition.

The documents will be available via the JCT online store, www.jctltd.co.uk. A Target Cost Contract Hub, available on the JCT corporate website provides more information for users about the Target Cost Contract – which is a new addition to the JCT contract suite.
The Target Cost Contract Hub can be accessed at corporate.jctltd.co.uk/target-cost-contract-hub.
Customers will have instant access on 25 June via the JCT On Demand digital format, or through the JCT Construct digital subscription service.
The contracts will also be available to order in traditional hardcopy from the same date. There will be no pre-order period.

In addition to the changes as part of the JCT 2024 Edition, the above documents incorporate changes resulting from the implementation of The Procurement Act 2023, which came into force on 24 February 2025.
