JCT has launched its new On Demand digital service, taking in feedback from users to deliver a service with a range of enhancements and features, enabling easy completion of JCT contracts online.
JCT On Demand seamlessly integrates with the JCT online store, www.jctltd.co.uk, so that users are able to purchase the JCT On Demand digital version of their contract, log in to their account and access their contract any time that is convenient to them.
The new JCT On Demand service enables users to:
- Complete their contracts using an intuitive Q&A process, which makes filling in the contracts easy and ensures that the key areas of the contract are covered. Questions change depending on the answers given, so users only complete what is relevant them and their project.
- Use the split Q&A/preview screen – so users can see their answers update the contract in real time as they progress.
- Use improved design features, such as easy to access document actions, an interactive progress bar, and an easy to navigate folder structure, to help make finding and progressing through contracts a breeze.
- Print DRAFT watermarked copies as required to review their contract.
- View and print comparison documents comparing their changes to the baseline JCT text.
- Finalise and print – when users are ready to finalise their contract the draft watermark is removed, enabling a final black and white copy to be downloaded and printed.
The JCT On Demand service is relaunched with three of JCT’s best-selling contracts, the JCT Minor Works Building Contract (MW), the JCT Minor Works Building Contract with contractor’ss design (MWD), and the Design and Build Contract (DB). The Design and Build Contract Guide (DB/G) is also available to purchase via JCT On Demand as a digital document.
