JCT has announced new dates for the autumn series of its training courses.
The courses, scheduled for September and October 2023, include a range of in-person and online courses focusing on individual contract families within the JCT 2016 Edition of Contracts.
Since its launch in 2018, JCT Training has provided courses on a range of JCT contracts and contract related issues.
Delivered by JCT experts, all either present or past members of the JCT Council or JCT Drafting Sub-Committee (responsible for drafting each edition of JCT contracts), JCT Training is the most authoritative, direct from source, series of contract training resources available.
JCT Training encompasses a comprehensive range of training products and services, aimed at providing flexible options depending on the level of detail and format required.
The full day, in-person courses are the most detailed of the options. They provide a thorough grounding in the topic or contract covered, and the group sessions allow for a more bespoke experience between the trainer and trainee.
JCT Training Online delivers courses as 3-hour live webinars. Led by the same expert trainers as for the in-person courses, the webinars are a convenient way to learn about JCT contracts in a way that fits in with a variety of flexible working environments. Interactivity is provided through the training interface, which enables participants to post questions to the trainer.
For those wanting an introduction to JCT or just a quick refresh on a particular element of a contract, JCT Video Modules provides a user-friendly way to access JCT Training content. Users can purchase individual modules or a complete series, providing an introductory grounding to a particular contract or legal issue.
